Today is the IWC meeting (International Whaling Commission), and we are hoping the outcome is a tighter ban on commercial whaling. Rumors are the US government, with the endorsement of the World Wildlife Fund and Greenpeace, may vote to lift the international ban on commercial whaling if 6 ‘requirements’ are met.
